not a lesbian questionI'm a heterosexual sister but I need sisterly advice please..of something off the topic here .....i recently kicked out my 22 year old daughter from my home...she has a 9 month old son..my grandson.....i raised my daughter as a single parent and took care of here since i had her at 17 her father wanted absolutely nothing to do with her...now when she lived with me it was rent free as she was trying to go to college and make something of herself so i supported her and did not charge her any rent when she got pregnant I went to appointments with her, comforting her when she was crying over the father, and feeding her when she was hungry, and the baby father he wanted nothing to do with her or the baby and still to this day has really nothing to do with the baby. His mother (the other grandmother) also did not want my daughter to have the baby and tried to do everything in her power to get my daughter and I convinced to make her abort her pregnancy. Now because the baby is all light skin the other grandmother is going crazy (they are color-struck), and my daughter feels she doesn't need me now because her baby will have another grandmother whether i'm there or not. So she began to be outright disrespectful to me, and so after enough disrespect I threw her out. She went to live with my sister who cursed me out and began to talk very negatively about me to my daughter. My daughter told me I was DEAD in her life and that I seriously needed help because I was evil and crazy. Now she's told me I could not see my grandson until I learn to respect her. I've never drank or did drugs and I must lnow earn to "Respect" her or I can't see my grandson. Any advice as I'm in serious pain? I feel like I tried to do my best by my daughter and my best wasn't good enough and as long as my sister negatively impacts my daughter's brains she will continue have hatred towards me....

Sweetie, what goes around comes right back around. She'll need you again, TRUST! She is your child, and the bible says, "Hornor thy Mother and Father". You don't owe her anything, you've done more than enough and you will be blessed plenty. So with that being said mom, now that you don't have any children to take care of any more it's time to work on you and enjoy your life. Good luck!!!

to hear that, she is young & is feeling herself. She will need you long before you need her. When other things don't work out the way she thinks they will, she will start to think about how good she had it & will regret the way she treated you.

I understand how you feel sistergirl but believe me she will come around. I went through a similar situation with my oldest daughter, not only did she have my sister in her ear she had my mother there too. It had gotten so bad that they tried to sue my for child support (She was under age when they come and took her out my house when I was at work) When I found out she was gone I called to find out what was going, I had to go to court and everything. But I did what I had to do so my daughter would know that I would not played with and she would need me before all was said and done. So just say a prayer and let it go, she will wake up. |
